DREAM ON. :))

Dreams
are are made of images and ideas and emotions appearing involuntarily in mind during sleep. The content of dreams are not yet understood, but they have been of interest through time. Oneirology is the study of dreams .Dreams help the brain strengthen the linking of memories. Dreams allow the repressed parts of the mind to be satisfied through fantasy while keeping the conscious mind from thoughts that would suddenly cause one to awaken from shock. They regulate mood. The visual nature of dreams are often highly unrealistic; that is, different locations and objects continuously blend into each other. The visuals (including locations, characters/people, objects/artifacts) are generally reflective of a person's memories and experiences, but often take on highly exaggerated forms. Anxiety is the most common emotion experienced in dreams. Other emotions are anger, depression, fear, joy, etc. Negative emotions are much more common than positive ones.

A nightmare is a dream that can cause a strong negative emotional response from the mind, typically fear and/or horror. The dream may contain situations of danger, discomfort, psychological or physical terror. Sufferers usually awaken in a state of distress and may be unable to return to sleep for a prolonged period of time.Nightmares can have physical causes such as sleeping in an uncomfortable or awkward position, having a fever, or psychological causes such as stress and anxiety. Eating before bed, which triggers an increase in the body's metabolism and brain activity, is a potential stimulus for nightmares.Fearfulness in waking life is correlated with the incidence of nightmares.Screaming is also a common feature of nightmares, more often than crying or moaning. The whole situation of screaming or crying can happen from 5 to 20 minutes.
